Every piece is customized to the client's vision — no two ever alike.

Lana Cooper Design is a small, deliberate atelier customizing name-brand jackets, shackets and tees into pieces that feel unmistakably yours. Trims, decals, fringe, custom lettering and hand-painted details — a full toolkit of techniques, each piece designed and finished in-studio.
I begin with quality garments — Lucky Brand, Michael Kors, Kensie, Vineyard Vines and other favorites sourced from TJ Maxx, Nordstrom Rack and beyond — then translate the private language of a person into something they can wear on any ordinary Tuesday. Available in all sizes.
Every commission mixes a handful of materials — never all at once, never the same twice. Painting is one option among many.
Name-brand denim jackets and overshirts from Lucky Brand, Michael Kors, Kensie, Vineyard Vines and more — reimagined into one-of-one pieces.
Soft, well-made tees personalized with lettering, decals or hand-painted artwork.
Fringe, ribbon, hardware, curated patches, names, lyrics and monograms — composed to tell your story.
Original artwork painted directly onto the garment, one brushstroke at a time. One option among many techniques.
Base garments are sourced from favorite brands like Lucky Brand, Michael Kors, Kensie and Vineyard Vines — often discovered at TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack — or supplied by you. Available in every size.
A quiet conversation about the story you'd like the piece to carry.
Together we choose the base — Lucky Brand, Michael Kors, Kensie, Vineyard Vines or a favorite of your own — in your exact size.
Sketches, moodboards and material selection: trims, decals, fringe, custom lettering, hand-painted details, or a mix of techniques.
You review each detail. Nothing is finished until it's exactly as you imagined.
Wrapped, hand-numbered, and shipped ready to be worn for the next twenty years.
Lana designed a jacket for my mother's seventieth. I've never seen her cry over clothing before. It's a family heirloom now.
It's the only piece in my closet I never grow tired of. Every detail is considered, every stitch is hers.
Working with Lana felt like sitting for a portrait. She listens the way great artists do — closely, and without hurry.
